Beyond our love for wildlife, Wild Whispers Australia was born from a deep connection to the land and the wild landscapes that have shaped us. Through our travels, we’ve followed the whispers of nature across vast and sacred places—but it is here, in this quiet valley, that we found home. A home we now wish to share with you.
Just an hour’s drive from Perth’s CBD, the Chittering Valley—tucked into the northern hills—offers an ideal country escape. With its untouched bushland and wetlands, vineyards, orchards, spectacular wildflowers, abundant wildlife, and breathtaking views, the region is a peaceful yet vibrant getaway. The Valley forms a picturesque gateway to Western Australia’s Wheatbelt region, where you can immerse yourself in the rural lifestyle and discover golden horizons.
Over the past decade, we’ve shaped this blank canvas into more than a family home—building endless infrastructure, nurturing the land, and finally creating a private Guest House. Completed in 2025, it now offers accommodation for those seeking rest, reconnection, and a little time in this peaceful corner of the world—so close to Perth, yet feels a world away.

The name Wild Whispers was born from two profound connections—the gentle farewell of one of our rehabilitated owls as it glided past us one last time, and the quiet wisdom the land offers when we stand still enough to hear it.
For over a decade, we have been privileged to care for the wild creatures that call this land home. As registered wildlife carers, we have spent countless hours rehabilitating birds and owls, nurturing them until they are strong enough to return to the wild.
Some take flight immediately, vanishing into the vast sky. Others linger, offering one last whispered goodbye before disappearing into the treetops. At times, under the cover of night, we sense their presence—a whisper in the wind, a silent shadow gliding by. Some land beside us, tilting their heads in quiet recognition. Their soft feathers brush against our skin—a fleeting, yet profound moment of connection, before they take flight once more.
